What to Bring

We want you to have an incredible time in San Juan del Sur and as such we have curated a list of items that you may want to consider as you are packing for this trip.

Must Have

🌎  As of June 10, 2023 Nicaragua is still requiring all individuals to present proof of vaccination, or a negative PCR test (no older than 72 hours).

🌎  Passport -- Your passport must be valid at least 6 months beyond the date that you expect to leave the country.

🌎  Currency is the Córdoba (NIO) and you cannot exchange Canadian dollars in Nicaragua, but U.S. dollars are widely accepted and easily exchanged.  Taking small US dollar bills is advisable.

🌎  Proof of Medical Travel is required for this retreat.  Once you have purchased it, please send a copy to sustainablewellbeingcoach@gmail.com

Should Have

☀️  Don't forget your Sunnies (sunglasses) as we are expecting 7 full days of sunshine

☀️  If you have any prescription medication or supplements, make sure to pack them in your carry-on

☀️  We will have a few bottles of sunscreen and insect repellent on hand for those who don't have any.  However, if you have a favorite brand or product, take it with you as options will be limited in San Juan del Sur.

☀️  A headlamp or flashlight might come in handy for late-night excursions between the beach and the villas.

☀️  Comfortable clothes to practice yoga!

Nice to Have

🏝️ The sun will be warm so consider some protective clothing such as hats and long sleeves, the temperature will be around 26 - 30 degrees Celsius.

🏝️  If you want to dive, surf, snorkel, sail, fish or frolic..... you might prefer to have your own gear.  Pack according to the activities you want to participate in....or simply live in your swimsuit for 7 days.

🏝️  The Villa will be providing mats and blocks, however, they are very basic.  If you wish to bring your own mat or a travel mat, or any other yoga or meditation accessories, please do so.  We want this to be a time where you feel comfortable to explore both your internal and external environment.
